我的父亲是一个退休的工人，他从未真正接触过互联网。他的生活一直围绕着家庭和社区转，但是随着年龄的增长，他开始意识到了解一下这个世界如何运作对他来说也是很重要的事情。他决定要学会使用互联网，但他并不急于行动，因为他知道这需要时间和耐心。
一开始，我看到了父亲坐在电脑前，用力按下鼠标，那些指尖颤抖的手显得那么笨拙。当我问他怎么了时，他笑着说：“我只是想看看外面的世界。”他的眼中充满了好奇与期待。我帮助他解决了一些基本的问题，比如如何启动浏览器、输入网址以及点击链接等简单操作。
逐渐地，父亲开始能够自己完成一些任务。他会在网上查找健康信息，因为最近他的血压有点高；或者查看天气预报，以便更好地安排日常活动。在这些小小成就中，我看到的是一个勇敢者，一位决心掌握新技能并适应新的环境的人。

In this digital age, the internet has become an integral part of our lives. Whether it's for learning, working or entertainment, we can't live without it. For many people, opening a web browser on their computer or phone is a familiar routine. But for some older folks who are not too tech-savvy, this simple action can be much more challenging.
My father is one such person. He's retired and never really had to use the internet before. His life revolved around family and community until he realized that understanding how the world works was important for him too. So he decided to learn how to use the internet - but he didn't rush into it.
At first I saw my father sitting in front of a computer struggling with his mouse - those shaking fingers seemed so clumsy when trying to click something. When I asked him what was wrong he smiled and said "I just want to see what's out there." There was so much curiosity and anticipation in his eyes.
As time went by my father started doing things on his own - like searching for health information because recently his blood pressure had been high; or checking weather forecasts so that he could better plan his daily activities. In these small accomplishments I saw a brave man who wanted to master new skills and adapt himself to a new environment.
