日本被视为世界上红叶最美的国家之一，每年有大批的游客为了赏枫而前往日本。日本人把秋天赏红叶叫做“红叶狩”。狩，狩猎。在日本人眼里，红叶有点儿像一头毛色华丽的野兽，当它嗅到一丝秋天的气息，就会以平均每天27公里的速度从北到南跑遍全日本，把这个狭长的岛国笼罩在它的影子里。所以人们不得不像猎人一样，扛着相机追寻它的足迹。
10月下旬的日本长野县、日本的大部分地区都穿上了金黄色的新装。这是一种名为“Koyo”的自然现象，它使得整个国家变成了一个巨大的画卷。在这里，你可以找到无数令人赞叹的地方，无论是高山还是平原，无论是森林还是田地，都能看到那壮观的一幕。
与我国北方寺庙栽种银杏习惯类似， 日本寺庙多栽种枫树，在那里你可以欣赏到古老寺院和现代城市之间独特而迷人的对比。而且，不同地区、不同季节呈现出不同的色彩和光线，这一切都是自然界赋予给我们的礼物，让我们沉醉于其中，让心灵得到洗涤。
