亚洲自行车展顾问耶格先生说：“前两届亚洲自行车展是与亚洲户外展同期在7月举办的。今年两展首次分开，亚洲自行车展移到10月10-13日举办，这个时间对自行车品牌来说是发布2014年最新款产品的最佳时期。通过这一调整，亚洲自行车展的举办更有助于推动国内自行车运动行业的发展，成为中国运动自行车市场上名副其实的专业展。”组办方预计今年自行车展将吸引12000名专业观众到场参观。亚洲自行车展项目总监李皓先生补充道：“10月份的南京秋高气爽，正适合骑行。在南京市政府的支持下，我们于展前一天10月9日在南京中山陵体育公园举办体验日Demo Day，邀请自行车经销商、代理商、俱乐部、VIP和媒体朋友到场参与试骑体验。南京是一个很有潜力的自行车城市，展会后两天(10月12-13日)是公众日，对大众开放，将吸引更多热爱骑行的人们到场参观。”
展会现场除品牌和产品展示外，一系列丰富的配合活动也将给观众带来更多的体验，如讲座和行业论坛—针对专业观众和自行车用户开展不同主题的研讨、服装秀—动态展示各品牌骑行服饰、室外测试路—山地车、公路车和E-BIKE专门车道试骑体验、展中展—奢华、高端、创新自行车的秀场，必将再次成为观众和媒体共同瞩目的焦点。

The market for sport and high-end bikes in China is growing unabated, with more than 33 percent growth in 2012. The first half of 2013 also developed positively – European and US brands are making strong inroads into the market
Nanjing/Friedrichshafen – Now in its third year, Asia Bike, running from 10 to 13 October 2013 in Nanjing, is making good progress. With 47 percent growth in the number of exhibitors, the trade fair platform has taken a huge leap forward toward becoming the leading trade fair for sport and luxury bikes in China.
Knut Jaeger, founder and Chairman of the trade fair, says: “Moving the event from the end of July to early October this year has had a positive impact on growth (the fair was previously held in cooperation with Asia Outdoor). Practically all exhibitors will be showing their 2014 collections. This makes Asia Bike into a genuine specialist trade fair in China.” The organizers are expecting up to 12,000 trade visitors this year. “Nanjing’s climate is best in October and the Nanjing City Council is supporting us on the Demo Day on 9 October 2013 with various circuits in the beautifully situated City Park. On the Demo Day, we are inviting dealers, clubs, VIPs and media from all over China. Nanjing is China’s bike city and so we are anticipating good attendances on the two public entry days,” says Richard Li, the Show Director in Nanjing.
Even without the partner trade fair (Asia Outdoor) in the neighboring halls, visitors to the bike trade show can look forward to a bumper accompanying program: Demo Day, forum and workshops, fashion show, open-air test tracks for mountain and road bikes, together with seminars for dealers switching from the conventional bike range to sport bikes. Once again in 2013, the “Show in Show” is developing into a “must-go” for visitors and the media. This is the part of the event in which exhibitors show off highlights and unique exhibits from all over the world..
